Professional Trainer Certificate- 'Train the Trainer'
Provides an understanding in the basics of training practice
Applicable for: first-time trainers or those looking to refine their techniques
Outcomes: an understanding
of how training can best be delivered to secure effective learning;
identify ways to structure and design training sessions; understand how
to make training sessions interesting, stimulating and relevant
Duration: three-day programme
Assessment: candidates are assessed on their design and delivery of a short training session

Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace
Raises awareness of the key health and safety issues in the workplace
Applicable for: anyone entering the workplace for the first time
Outcomes: ability to identify hazards and risks related to the workplace and understand health and safety procedures
Duration: half-day programme
Assessment: 15 multi-choice question exam
Ofqual accreditation: No
Cost: £80 + VAT per candidate
*In-House training also available at £395 + VAT (up to 5 candidates).
Further candidates (up to 12 maximum) will be subject to an administration cost of £15 each.

Provides a firm foundation in health and safety
Applicable for: anyone in a work environment
Outcomes: ability to contribute to any risk-assessment based health and safety system
Duration: one-day programme
Assessment: 30 multi-choice question exam
Ofqual accreditation: 100/5914/3
Cost: £95 + VAT per candidate

Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH
Provides essential information about the control of hazardous substances
Applicable for: anyone working with hazardous substances
Outcomes: understanding common hazardous substances, the type of injury and ill-health they can cause and how risks can be controlled
Duration: half-day programme
Assessment: 30 multi-choice question exam
Ofqual accreditation: No
Cost: £80 + VAT per candidate

Provides and introduction to the hazards of manual handling

Assessment: 30 multi-choice question exam and practical assessment
